we were more than three hours.
More than El Dorado*
and the Champagne.
More than your promises
of never kiss me.
More than the madness in bed.
And your nakedness
in the dining room.
More than your
one hour alarm clock.
More than the socks
you forgot.
More than your prudence.
Much more than castling
between your work and my seclusion.
